Stop leads to arrest of a 28 year-old Pomona man for mail theft and identity theft

LOCATION: City of Pomona, Ca.

CRIME: 530.5 (a) PC - Felony Mail Theft / 530.5 (e) PC – Identity
Theft / 502.6 (a) PC – “Credit Card Skimming”

VICTIMS: Chino Hills, Glendora, Pomona

SUSPECT: Jason Bach Nogueda, Pomona resident, 28 years old

UNIT: Patrol Division & Investigative Services Division

NARRATIVE: On Monday, June 26, 2017, patrol officers conducted a stop of suspect Nogueda. During their investigation, he was found to be in possession of numerous items of mail and credit cards belonging to victims from the City of Chino Hills, Glendora, and Pomona. Also found in his possession was a credit card reader. As a result, he was arrested.

On June, 28, 2017, Pomona Detectives presented the case to the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office who filed charges of Mail Theft , Identity Theft, and “Credit Card Skimming”. His bail is set at $90k.
