Picture for the week

Looks like this picture was taken back in the 1940's, not sure but it looks like it.
OK, your standing in the middle of West Second Street. and Gordon St. looking east on Second St.
If you go by there today, the buildings to your left, are gone now. The only thing left of the buildings. Are the water meters on the sidewalks, still there to this day, and the bank is still there also.
The other day, I seen some people walk into the old bank. They told me, they are going to start working on the bank. Their going to start with enforcing the building for earthquakes, that is good news.
Now the buildings to your right are also gone,  Libby Bank was built on the corner of W. Second St. and Main St. back in 1960's Now it's a school.
If you look way, way, way down E. Second St., you can see some palm trees to your right. Those palm trees are still there today, marking the way, how Second St. use to travel, all the way to Town Ave.
They are now part of Western U Campus.
