THE SATURDAY SMORGASBORD

The Saturday Smorgasbord is an event like no other! Each Smorgasbord features different improv teams and forms from around SoCal. You can stuff yourself with an un-ending sampler platter of all the most delicious styles of improvisation!*

*No food actually included. This is a mental feast.
...bangarang...

IN THIS SMORGASBORD:

THE OJP IMPROV INTERNS
These collegiate scholars are furthering their mastery of the improvisational arts here at Ophelia's Jump one "yes and" at a time. Tonight, they perform a brand new form that they created!

THE SPOKANE or THE PRETTY FLOWER or THE FAMILY GUY
Three names, one form. The Spokane lets us dive into the past, future, and present of a cast of characters. It's a high energy, not to be missed spectacle!

THE ARMANDO
The Armando is a form originally created at iO that features a guest monologist who fills us in on stories from their own life, whose themes are then riffed upon by a group of talented improvisers. Our guest monologist this time is Johanna Smith, a Professor of Theatre Education, Puppetry, and Improv at CSUSB! We're gettin' edumacated this week!
