OCT 31 A Night in Old Spadra

You won't see it on many maps today, but the town of Spadra (founded in 1866) competed with Pomona for prominence in the valley, and very nearly won.
Few remnants of Spadra remain today; one of the few sites we still have is the Spadra Cemetery. The Historical Society needs your help protecting and preserving the Cemetery, and so we're opening it up this Halloween for tours. Tours will last 45 minutes, so we recommend comfortable shoes. We'll tell you all about the stories of the people buried there.
For tickets and more information visit www.pomonahistorical.org/events
(Remember, if you can't visit on Halloween, you can always give us a call at 909-623-2198 or email pomonahistorical@verizon.net to set up a small group tour.)
