Hello!

It's been a bit since our last newsletter, but getting ready for Home Tour is a busy (though very exciting) time for us.  

We are getting ready for our main event! 

Pomona Heritage  

34th Annual Home Tour  

"Pomona in Progress"

This year's tour features five distinct and beautiful Pomona homes. We are grateful to have a Victorian, a Craftsman, a Tudor Cottage, a Folk Victorian, and a Cliff May Mid Century Modern all on the tour this year.  

These five homes represent the history of beautiful home construction in Pomona. Each home is a work in progress and on the tour you will get to see the process of the owner's caring restoration.

Our featured non-residential site is a much loved building by many in Pomona.  

When the Seventh Day Adventist congregation left the building on 360 W. 3rd street many wondered what would happen. This is after all the first church in Pomona, standing on this spot since the 1870's. We are happy to say it is being used again by Pomona Holy Church, and is much loved by the new congregation and its pastor. They are excited to have the community come and see the work being done to preserve this National Historic Landmark.

So join us Saturday November 3, 2018

 

The church and homes will be open from 11:00 am -5:00pm

.  

Tickets are $20 and can be purchased now at our site www.pomonaheritage.org on the Home Tour page, or the day of the tour at Pomona Holy Church, 360 W. 3rd street

.  

As always proceeds from the tour fund our Home Restoration Grant Program, so invite a friend and help keep Pomona beautiful.

We are still looking for a few docents to help with the tour.
