Here's another look at the backside of the building, looking north on Park Ave. from the corner of Third and Park Ave. The building was torn down I believe in 1953, somewhere about that time.

Beautification Day event 4/27 and Plant Sale 5/3

Hi Everybody,

We have two upcoming Lincoln garden events for Spring to let you all know about. This Saturday,
April 27 we will be having an event for Beautification Day, which features beautifying projects
 throughout the
 city of Pomona.
The event will be from 8:00 to 12:00. All attendees get a free LA County Fair ticket and a free meal,
both of which they can pick up afterwards at the celebration at Civic Center Plaza in downtown Pomona starting
 around 12:30.
Last year, Lily's Tacos catered the event so the food was really fantastic!
We will also provide breakfast snacks for you at Lincoln. We will meet at the Lincoln garden at 8:00.

We ask that any children please be accompanied by an adult.

Friday, May 3rd, the Lincoln Garden Club will be having a plant sale fundraiser during the
Lincoln May Festival,
from 4:00 to 6:00. We will be selling edible and ornamentals plants at cheap prices! Bananas,
sweet potatoes, sage, figs, hydrangeas, and more!
Come out and take advantage of some great deals! We will also have a paint-your-own clay pot booth,
handmade clay pots for sale, and raffle prizes. The sale is cash only.
All proceeds from the sale will benefit the Lincoln Garden Club and general garden program.

Thanks!
