NHRA Twilight Cruise October 2 Oct 2, 2019 - Oct 2, 2019 03:00 PM - 07:00 PM
Join us the first Wednesday of the month for an evening of hot rodding fun for the entire family at the NHRA Twilight Cruise. Festivities include music, food vendors and more. Make sure to visit the NHRA museum and gift shop.
Cruise Night hours are 3-7 p.m.; the event is FREE for spectators. Museum admission is FREE after 3 p.m., and Museum members are always FREE!
Cruise-Ins pay $5 entry per car and will receive a ticket for the drawing held during the evening for a chance to win a cash prize! Museum members drive in for free, as well as receiving their chance drawing ticket.
·Open to vehicles 1976 and earlier
·Cruise –In Car parking opens at 2 p.m.
·Only cruise participants will receive a ticket
·No additional tickets sold
·Winners must be present to win

As the saying goes, “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.” And the retro-inspired, all two-stroke Red Bull Straight Rhythm ain’t broke. So, like a well-performing top end, it ain’t getting fixed. Head-to-head racing. Two-stokes only. No factory bikes. Serious racing…in an irreverent way. Something you definitely won’t see anywhere else.
The event returns for its sixth year, and the nitty-gritty remains the same. Line up side by side and race head-to-head down a ½ mile of rollers, whoops, doubles, tables and all other kinds of rhythmic insanity. Racing is a best-of-three format, allowing each rider at least two chances to grab victory. Practice, qualifying and racing will all take place on the same day, with the finals taking place at night under the lights.

At PUMPKIN NIGHTS, you’ll set out on a magical quest along a half-mile walking path, where you’ll discover the Forbidden Pumpkin City, a pirate’s cove, and more fantastical lands built using over 3,000 hand-carved real and synthetic pumpkins. The celebration continues with a fire show, delicious tastes and treats, and outdoor movie screenings.

La celebración comunitaria de los Muertos y los Vivos incluirá un altar interactivo para toda la familia , música , tiempo para compartir historias y alimentos. Esperamos enseñar a los demás a través del intercambio de celebrar la vida , la muerte, y la familia . Favor de traer una foto o recuerdo ( un elemento que simboliza) de un ser querido para añadir al altar . ( Todas las fotos y los artículos serán devueltos ) .

We hope to teach each other through sharing about celebrating life, death, and family. Please bring a picture or recuerdo (an item) that you can place on the altar during the ceremony to honor your family or friend.

Uninstructed figure drawing from life allows participants to study and draw the figure at their own pace. Nude model poses in sets of two, five, ten, and twenty minute poses. Bring your drawing supplies and paper, and come draw with us. Students under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian sign a release form to attend.
