Calls for service to report illegal firework activity in Pomona have been up nearly 200% compared to 2019. From June 1 – July 5, 2020, officers recovered 1,400 pounds of fireworks and issued a total of 92 citations. We also received 14 fire related calls from July 4 - 5.
