NARRATIVE:

On Wednesday, January 19, 2022; Pomona Police Dispatch received a call of several gang members loitering around parked cars in the 600 block of Roderick Av, an area that had recently been the location of a drive-by shooting. A patrol officer assigned to this area, recognized the location and the dangers associated with the gang members reportedly seen. Based on this information, the officer coordinated a strategic plan to safely approach the situation with the assistance of additional patrol officers. Officers made contact with several individuals, who were drinking alcohol in public, in and about the parked cars. Some of the individuals were, in fact, identified as active gang members. A safety search of the individuals involved, and their cars, was conducted. The searches revealed four loaded firearms at the immediate disposal of the subjects contacted. Officers were able to conclude the investigatory call for service by arresting four suspects for possessing loaded firearms illegally: Keese, Kamron, Williams, Noah Jay, Wright, Amarionte Deshawn, Diaz De Leon, Joseph Abel. In addition to the open charges, Suspect Keese was arrested for attempted murder, based on an outstanding warrant out of San Bernardino County. The suspects were booked at the Pomona City Jail in anticipation of their arraignment.
