Fox Sports Bar and Grill’s Toy Drive

 

POMONA, Calif. – The Fox Sports Bar and Grill hosts its first toy drive with the Los Angeles County Fire Department on Saturday, December 8, 2012. Bring an unwrapped toy or a $10.00 donation for entrance to the special event which starts at 6:00pm.

This and proceeds will be donated to the House of Ruth, an organization that helps woman and children who have been victimized by domestic violence.

Look for the fire department’s antique fire truck on the corner of 3^rd Street and Garey Avenue in Downtown Pomona: 333 S. Garey Ave., Pomona, CA.

“The Sports Bar is pleased to collaborate with the local fire department to benefit children and families in need," said John Pena, Fox Sports Bar co-owner. “Our staff is excited to give back and make the holidays a little easier for our neighbors.”

Attendees will also enjoy free access to see the showdown between legendary Manny Pacquiao and four-time world champion Juan Manuel Marquez

Another world champion, Olympic gold medal winner Kim Rhode, is this year’s Grand Marshal at the Pomona Christmas Parade which takes place the same morning, 10:00am, along 2^nd Street in Downtown.
