Citrus College Faculty Finish Second in Trivia Competition

Three Citrus College instructors earned second place in a 24-team trivia challenge last month that benefits the Glendora Public Library.
Communications Instructor Theresa Villenueve, Spanish Instructor Toby Guebert, and Speech Instructor John Fincher finished behind a team from homebuilding company Crestwood Communities in The Great Trivia Challenge held at Azusa Pacific University on Mar. 23, according to a news release from Citrus.
"Citrus College is such an important part of the Glendora community that it would have been odd if we weren’t there," Villenueve said in a prepared statement. "I think we represented the college well. We didn’t just make the final round; we beat 22 teams, including one representing a local university."
About 400 people attended the event, the release states.
