Victim of Fatal Vehicle Versus Bicycle Crash is Identified

A 42-year-old Pomona man fatally injured in a bicycle-car collision was identified today.
Miguel Lazaro Montes was riding east, across the westbound lanes of Valley Boulevard, when he collided with a westbound Mercedes-Benz at or near Lyndale Avenue about 12:05 a.m. Monday, according to Pomona police and a coroner's spokesman.
The Mercedes driver, a 25-year-old of Beaumont resident, was not cited in the accident.
