The Major Crimes Task Force arrest two with loaded firearms


On Thursday, February 1st members of the Pomona Police Department’s Major Crimes Task Force (MCTF) were partnered with the Los Angeles County Probation Department and conducted a Gang saturation detail throughout the city of Pomona. This enforcement successfully resulted in four arrests for various crimes to include possession of loaded firearms. Those arrests are as follows;
  1. Flowers, Davidn- 25850(c)(6) PC- Possession of a loaded unregistered firearm, Apple Valley resident
  2. Hodges, Cory- 25850(c)(6) PC- Possession of a loaded unregistered firearm, Apple Valley resident
  3. James, Anthony-  3056 PC- Absconding Parole Violation, Apple Valley resident
  4. Castillo, Jesus- 10851 VC- Grand Theft Auto, La Puente resident
 
It is the mission of the Pomona Police Department’s Major Crimes Task Force to actively seek gang members who are in possession of firearms and to reduce street violence.
