Assault Reported During Vehicle Crash on I-10

 
A crash between three vehicles that may have erupted in violence is still affecting traffic on the westbound Interstate 10 before Indian Hill in Claremont.
The crash was reported at 12:50 p.m. according to an online report by the California Highway Patrol. Officers were still investigating as of 2:15 p.m. Three vehicles were reportedly involved.
One vehicle rolled over and at least one person was trapped, according to the report. Before police arrived however, witnesses were urging CHP officers to rush to the scene because someone allegedly dragged a driver from his vehicle and assaulted him on the right shoulder, according to the CHP website.
Traffic was still heavy heading into Pomona as of 2 p.m. No other details were immediately available. This article will be updated as information becomes available.
