What Crews will be constructing two new bridges over Foothill Boulevard (adjacent to the existing Foothill Bridge), requiring eight months of lane closures on Foothill Boulevard. When The lane closures began Monday, January 14, 2013 and will continue through the end of September 2013; 24-hours per day and 7 days per week. Construction work hours are 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, weather permitting. Possible weekend work and occasional full nighttime closures may be needed. Expectations•1st phase will require the right lane on eastbound/westbound Foothill Blvd. to be closed. •2nd phase will require left lane on eastbound/westbound Foothill Blvd. to be closed. •Sidewalk access will be maintained on one side of street; detour signs will be posted. •Motorists should expect delays and are encouraged to use detour route. •Access to businesses will remain open during construction. OTHER ON-GOING ALERTS: 1) Colorado Blvd. CLOSED between Colorado Pl. and Santa Anita Ave. in Arcadia. The full street closure began on Monday, January 7 and will continue through April 2013.
