COLORADO BLVD REOPENS, SANTA ANITA WORK STARTS, NIGHTTIME CLOSURES THIS WEEK ON SANTA ANITA AND 1ST AVE/SANTA CLARA ST: Two nighttime closures of 1st Ave and Santa Clara St on Tuesday, May 21 and Wednesday, May 22, 2013 - Arcadia Crews will be removing the existing railroad tracks and repaving the intersection at 1st Ave and Santa Clara St. This work requires two nighttime closures of the intersection at the railroad crossing this week. The closures are scheduled to take place on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 and Wednesday, May 22, 2013, starting at 7:00 p.m. through 7:00 a.m. the following morning. Click here for construction notice. Click here to view Arcadia construction activity map.   Seven months of lane closures on Santa Anita Ave. start this week + Santa Anita will be fully closed for one night - Thursday night, May 23, 2013 from 7 P.M. - 7 A.M. - Arcadia Construction of the Santa Anita Ave bridge in Arcadia began this week and is scheduled to continue for seven months. North and southbound lane closures along Santa Anita Ave (between Newman Ave and Santa Clara St) will be in place during this period.A full closure of Santa Anita Ave will take place on Thursday night, May 23rd from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. the following morning to set-up the traffic control for the first phase of lane closures.
