Two people were killed today in a crash on the transition road from the eastbound Pomona (60) Freeway to the westbound Chino Valley (71) Freeway in Pomona, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The pair died at the scene of the crash, which was reported shortly before 9 a.m., CHP Officer Francisco Villalobos said.
County fire department paramedics took at least one person to a hospital. The transition road was closed to accommodate an investigation, Villalobos said.
