This 2 bedroom 1 bath use to be located at 942 W Holt Ave, until a few years ago it was torn down. This was a some small farm, with a few orange and lemon trees along with a couple of grape vines. And a garden and maybe chickens for eggs, and a family cow for milk. That's the way life was back then, a person or family would grow their own food and maybe sell some it or trade something for the wife, to make her life a little bit more easier. But I know we can't save everything but we can save them by taking pictures, the Pomona Historical Society should go in and take pictures of our history before we lose them. Where this small farm use to be located at, still remains just another empty lot, but if it could speak the stories it could tell.
