A local veterinary hospital is teaming up with Monrovia police to host a low cost vaccination and licensing clinic for dogs at Recreation Park next week.
The clinic will be offered on Wednesday, June 12, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., according to a flyer sent out by the Monrovia Police Department. Huntington Veterinary Hospital is co-sponsoring the event.
Rabies vaccinations are $10 for dogs. Dogs must be kept on a six-foot leash or in a carrier. Proof of a rabies vaccination is required to license a dog.
Dogs must be spayed or neutered to qualify for reduced licensing fees. Fees are tripled for unaltered dogs. The reduced fees are as follows
- One Year - $20
- Two Years - $40
- Three Years - $60
