Located on N. Garey Ave. and across the street from Lincoln School, we use to stop after school and check out the puppies they had. And the strange looking birds they had back then and other animals. No longer there, but I think they print out posters and banners there now.
My grandmother owned Melody Pet Shop, and I remember it as a kid. Her name was Lola Stringfellow. My father grew up in the house to the right of the photo. Nice to see it again. ;-) Stan stanmanwplan at yahoo dot com
