Motorcyclist in Critical Condition After Collision with Vehicle in Monrovia
A motorcyclist remains in critical condition after he rear-ended a vehicle while traveling at a high rate of speed on Peck Road early Thursday morning, police said.
The motorcycle collided with the rear of a car near Peck Road and Live Oak Avenue at about 12:30 a.m., Monrovia Police Lt. Michael Lee said.
The injuries to the motorcyclist appeared very severe, Lee said.
"We were under the impression it was going to be a fatality but right now he's in critical condition," Lee said.
Police have identified the man and are in the process of trying to find family members to contact, Lee said.
