Ontario Legion to host barbecue after parade


ONTARIO -- American Legion Post 112, along with Sons of the American Legion Squadron 112, and Women's Auxiliary Unit 112, will have a float in this year's July 4 Ontario parade, followed by a barbecue at Ontario American Legion, 310 W. Emporia St.
The float will feature a paper mache Liberty Bell and cannon, along with members & children riding on the float proudly waving American flags.The cookout hosted by The Sons of The American Legion Squadron 112, will feature barbecue ribs or chicken, baked beans, corn on the cob, and potato salad from noon to 2 p.m. Suggested donation for lunch is $10. American Legion Auxiliary Unit 112 will be hosting an ice cream stand, with floats and other warm-weather items.
