Pomona Man Killed After He Was Impaled is Identified
A man who died when he fell onto a fence in Pomona, impaling himself, was identified today, authorities said.
The man was identified as Concepcion Benitez Arciniega, who died of a chest injury where it happened, in the 2400 block of Angela Street, according to the coroner's office.
According to the Los Angeles Times, the man was identified originally only as a homeless man who was living on the roof of the garage. The newspaper reported the man fell off a garage roof and onto a fence post that pierced his chest, authorities said.
The circumstances of the fall remained under investigation.
