Deputies Locate Lost Hikers in Angeles National Forest

Los Angeles County Sheriffs deputies from the San Dimas station helped two lost hikers find their way back after the pair got lost in the Angeles National Forest near Garcia Trail Monday afternoon.
The two adult hikers were hiking on Glendora Ridge Motorway near Garcia Trail when they lost their bearings and were unable to recognize their location as they tried to make their way back, according to Sgt. Vicki Gregory.  The pair was able to use a cell phone and call the San Dimas station at around 1:30 p.m.
Deputies met up with the pair and guided them back to safety. Gregory said the hikers were not injured, but were given water as they did not have any water with them.
