A pickup truck crashed into a power pole in Hacienda Heights Thursday, knocking live wires down and scattering them across the road.
The crash on Gale Avenue, just west of Hacienda Boulevard, was reported at 1:45 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
Crews shut down eastbound and westbound lanes on Gale from Farmstead Avenue to Hacienda Boulevard.
It was not immediately clear if power was knocked out to area customers.
