Hard Rain on Angeles Crest Highway, Flash Flood Warning in Effect
A thunderstorm was sitting over a section of the Angeles Crest Highway in the Big Pines area Monday afternoon and the National Weather Service has issued a flash flooding warning for the foothills and mountains area.
Flooding in the area is likely happening on Monday afternoon - hikers should stay out of creeks and stream beds in the Angeles National Forest, according to the warning.
Forecasters noted the storm cell at 1:24 p.m.
There is a chance of more thunderstorms and potential flooding through tonight, according to the Weather Service.
