Executive Chef Gabriel Ask Creates Savory New Summer Menus
Summer calls for sunny days, cool breezes and leisurely al fresco dining. The Rooftop Grill at Montage Beverly Hills has it all. Open daily for breakfast and lunch, guests can now enjoy a new early evening Sunset Menu from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. as well as a complete Sunday dinner from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. With unprecedented views of the city, from the Hollywood hills to downtown Los Angeles, this poolside retreat is a welcome oasis for local residents and out-of-town visitors.
Executive Chef Gabriel Ask has created a menu that complements the casually elegant setting with entrees ranging from Crab Louis Lettuce Wraps and Harvest Kale Salad, to local Halibut Tacos and a Steak Salad punctuated with poached pear bleu cheese and roasted shallot vinaigrette.
A selection of specialty cocktails includes the Cucumber Melon Martini and the wildly popular Montage Margarita. Coupled with an order of guacamole, salsa and house-made tortilla chips, a special summer evening is sure to be in store.
Sunday dinner might begin with Crab Cakes and lemon paprika aioli or Short Rib Sliders topped with crispy onions. The Seafood Plateau features Jumbo Shrimp, Maine Lobster, Kushi Oysters and Snow Crab. Prime Filet Mignon and Colorado Lamb Rack are served with a choice of sauces as is the King Salmon, Roasted Jidori Chicken and Striped Sea Bass.
