UPDATED: Injured Party Airlifted to Trauma Unit Following Foothills Crash

Just an hour after a five-vehicle crash that stalled traffic on a San Dimas freeway Friday, another crash occurred on a different highway in that city -- this crash involving four vehicles, two of those overturned.

The crash on the northbound State Route 71 at the connector to the northbound Orange Freeway was reported about 2:30 p.m.
The connector was shut down and a SigAlert was issued for about 30 minutes, officials said.

Two flatbed trucks were called out to collect the overturned vehicles; there was no immediate word on injuries.
