Gas Prices Drop to the Lowest Prices Since May
Gasoline is as low as $3.95 per gallon in Beverly Hills
The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped today to its lowest amount since May 8, falling 1.6 cents to $3.961.
The average price has decreased for 21 consecutive days and is 6.9 cents less than one week ago and 7.7 cents lower than one month ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. However, the average price is a half-cent more than one year ago.
The average price has decreased 15.9 cents over the past 21 days, including 1.2 cents on both Wednesday and Thursday.
According to GasBuddy.com, the lowest price for gasoline in Beverly Hills is $3.95 per gallon. That price can be found at the Shell located at 391 South Robertson Blvd. and West Olympic Boulevard and at the 76 station located at 9988 Wilshire Blvd.
"Local wholesale prices have dropped by more than 40 cents since mid-July, so there is continued downward pressure on prices at the pump,'' said Jeffrey Spring of the Automobile Club of Southern California.
