'Gino's Kitchen' Chef Demonstrates Farm to Table Fare for Local Kids

Chef Gino Campanga helping kids learn about the garden, harvesting is abundance and fashioning food from it.

The Venice High School Learning Garden came alive Wednesday with a fun and interactive program that taught kids about planting and cooking garden to table.

Got Milk? put on the program with local children's culinary hero Chef Gino Campanga, former host of "Gino's Kitchen" on the Disney Channel and from Piccolo Chef Culinary School.

On Wednesday, Campagna demonstrated what can be done in the kitchen with the season’s freshest produce harvested from the garden in an effort to help kids make informed food and lifestyle choices so they'll be better equipped to practice healthier eating and living habits later in life.

Kids ages 6 to 13 and adults attended the event.
