Lynwood Families Invited to Back-To-School Health Clinics



The following is an official announcement from the Lynwood Unified School District (LUSD): 
With the 2013-14 school year quickly approaching, the Lynwood Unified School District is working with community partner St. Francis Medical Center to provide children and their families free vaccinations and health screenings so students are ready to return to the classroom when school begins Sept. 3.
Parents must bring their children’s immunization card.


Back-To-School Health Fair - Open to Entire Community
10 a.m. to 3 p.m. (Participants must register by 1 p.m.) on Saturday, Aug. 24
St. Francis Medical Center, 3630 E. Imperial Highway, Lynwood
Children can receive free immunization, height and weight, and dental and vision screenings. Free glucose, cholesterol, blood pressure, and height and weight screenings will be available for adults. Children who receive immunizations or bring an up-to-date immunization card will receive a free backpack with school supplies.
