Multi-Vehicle Crash on 210 Freeway Injures Driver
Firefighters had to cut free the driver who was trapped in the vehicle.
Firefighters had to cut free an injured Ladera Ranch man from a wrecked BMW after a multi-vehicle crash on the 210 Freeway Thursday morning.
The crash occurred at around 11;35 a.m., near the Sunflower Avenue exit on the eastbound 210 Freeway, according to a CHP dispatcher.
A man driving a BMW rear-ended a pick-up, which struck the vehicle ahead of it. A big rig hauling two trailers swerved to avoid the vehicles and struck the BMW. Firefighters cut free the driver of the BMW from the vehicle, who suffered moderate injuries. He was later airlifted to the hospital by helicopter.
