Nissan Bursts Into Flames on Baldwin Park's 605



The incident was reported about 7:40 p.m. on the northbound side, just south of Ramona Boulevard, according to the California Highway Patrol.

A Nissan Sentra burst into flames on the 605 Freeway in Baldwin Park Thursday but no injuries were reported.

Two young men got out of the sedan, the engine of which caught fire before spreading to engulf the vehicle, the CHP reported.

The compact car was to be towed after firefighters quelled the flames, according to the CHP.
