Five things to do this weekend

Friday-Saturday: Take an opportunity to visit the site of the first community of the Inland Valley, called Agua Mansa, in the southern portion of Colton at 2001 E. Agua Mansa Road. The Agua Mansa Pioneer Cemetery is all that is left of the community founded about 1845 by immigrants from New Mexico. The community was wiped out by the massive floods of 1862 but the cemetery, built on a bluff above the Santa Ana River, survived and is now a San Bernardino County Museum landmark. The cemetery is open Friday from noon to 3 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The fee $5 adult, $4 senior/military, $2.50 student/child, under 5 and Museum Association members are free. Group tours by appointment. Information: 909-370-2091

Saturday: The local version of the Million Father March will be held from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Seville Park, 16669 Seville Ave., Fontana. The theme is “Fathers Coming Together For Their Children. To register for the march: www.streetpositive.com
Saturday: The San Gorgonio Wilderness Association hosts the final Mill Creek Restoration Day of the summer at the Thurman Flats Picnic Area from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The picnic area is on Highway 38 about 3.5 miles northeast of the Mill Creek Ranger Station. Volunteers will perform a variety of tasks aimed at restoring the area around the picnic site and Mill Creek to their natural beauty. Participants should bring sturdy shoes, sunscreen and gloves. The musical, “Redlands, My Redlands,” will be presented at the University of Redlands Memorial Chapel on Nov. 15 and 16. The auditions will be from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Joslyn Senior Center, 21 Grant St., Redlands. Adults and children 8 years and up can audition.
