Furry Friends Festival set at Rancho Cucamonga shelter
The Rancho Cucamonga Animal Care & Adoption Center will hold its 4th annual Furry Friends Festival and Pet Walk-A-Thon on Oct. 5 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The event will be held at the Animal Center, 11780 Arrow Route. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Animal Center’s life-saving community programs such as spay and neuter, foster care, and medical rehabilitation.
This free family event includes a Pet Walk-A-Thon, animal adoptions, a pancake breakfast hosted by the Rancho Cucamonga Fire District, vendor fair, “Kids’ Corner” (with bounce houses, games, and other fun activities), pet contests, and entertainment provided by Noelani’s Hula Dance Studio, Dave’s Disk Dogs, Outa the Blu Classic Rock Band, Agile Paws Dog Sports, and Frequent Flyer Xtreme Gymnastics.
There will be incentive prizes for fundraisers, a free gift for the first 350 walkers, and all walkers will receive a Furry Friends Festival bandana for their pet.
Those without a pet can “rent-a-dog” and take one of the adoptable dogs out for a stroll.
