L.A. County Fair Highlights for Wednesday, September 25



Here’s a list of programs and deals for today. More information can be found at lacountyfair.com.
Wednesday’s hours: Noon – 10 p.m.
Wednesday’s Deals:
• Wild Wednesdays: $25 for an all-you-can-ride wristband and admission. Get a coupon from Del Taco or Farmer Boys.
• Senior Wednesdays: Ages 60+ are admitted to the Fair for $5 with a coupon available in the LANG newspapers and online. Seniors also receive $1 soft drinks from noon-5 p.m. from select vendors and a bounce-back coupon, good for any Wed-Fri at the Fair.

• $5 after 5: Fair admission is only $5 after 5 p.m. with coupon. Visit website for more information.
• $5 after 5 Kids Meals: Kids meals at select vendors available to those 12 and younger.
• Season Pass: presented by Walgreens, $24.99 for ages 6 and older at participating Walgreens
• Ralphs Any-Day Tickets: admission tickets $10 for adults, $6 for ages 6-12, comes with exclusive unlimited carnival ride wristband ($35). Restrictions apply. Presented by Ralphs.
• Cardenas Any-Day Tickets: admission tickets $10 for adults, $6 for ages 6-12. Available at all participating Cardenas Markets.

• Costco Savings Pack: $54.99 for 4 any-day tickets, one parking pass and 44 carnival ride/game tickets. At participating Costco stores.
• Children 5 and younger are free every day.
Wednesday’s Top Things To Do:
Mysteries of the Amazon: Daily. Immerse yourself in the culture of Brazil and the tranquil presence of orchids, tropical birds and a lazy sloth. Located at the Flower & Garden Pavilion.
Mermaid Melissa: Visit Mermaid Melissa at Beneath the Sea as she swims, dives and shows off her beautiful mermaid fin. 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 p.m.

Olympics of the Forest Lumberjack Show: Daily. Watch these lumberjack athletes show off their skills like axe throwing, log rolling, chainsaw carving and hot sawing.
Glendora Day: Celebrate Glendora and its Community Heroes during the parade at 5 p.m. and at the Community Heroes ceremony at 4:15 p.m. The ceremony is held on the patio at Millard Sheets Center for the Arts during the community reception. Residents receive $5 admission with online purchase using promo code available at lacountyfair.com. Glendora’s community heroes are Jake Peterson and Chuck and Tricia Gomer.

Barnyard Racers Pig Racing: Daily. We have the fastest racing pigs in North America, who will race snout to snout to reach their ultimate goal: an Oreo cookie. Located in FairView Farms. 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9 p.m.
Wine Classes: Taste the award-winning wines of Temecula with experts Don Galleano and Chuck Keagle. Wine & Beer Marketplace. 7 p.m.
