Carden Arbor View School will host a series of community speaker presentations, beginning Oct. 24 with Priority Media Solutions.
Richard Cruz and Perry Camp will present to all parents the topic of “how best to community with our children as we monitor and protect them regarding their internet and smartphone usage.”
Cruz and Perry will discuss identifying potential problems while offering points on what parents can do. They will focus on Facebook and other social media as well as the latest applications kids do not want their parents to know about.
They will also discuss cyber bullying, avoiding online predators and revealing too much information online.
The series is open to the community as well as Carden Arbor View parent families, staff and alumni.
The presentation will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the school’s library, 1530 N. San Antonio Ave. Reservations must be made by Oct. 22 by calling 909-982-9919. Seating is limited.
