A family of three was ordered to lie down during a home invasion in Diamond Bar, where an undisclosed amount of money was taken, authorities said today.
Two men wearing hooded sweatshirts entered the darkened home on the 500 block of Macenta Lane around 11:20 p.m. Monday and told the occupants to lie down, said Sgt. Byron Ward of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department's Diamond Bar station,
Ward said the suspects then took money from a purse and a wallet in the house, then left, apparently on foot.
