Metrolink Riders Receive $1 Discount on Skating Session

Celebrate the holidays at Downtown on Ice at Pershing Square, LA’s biggest outdoor rink with the smallest admission price. As an original Southland tradition and a favorite holiday destination, the community rink is open daily starting November 14, 2013 through January 20, 2014. A partnership with Metrolink allows commuters to receive a $1 skating session discount by showing their valid Metrolink ticket or pass.

Admission: $8 per person ($7 with Metrolink discount); one-hour skating session. Skate Rental: $2 (figure/hockey)

GETTING THERE:
Take Metrolink to L.A. Union Station:
Metrolink offers Monday - Friday service on  the San Bernardino, Riverside, Antelope Valley, Orange County, Ventura County and 91 Lines to downtown L.A. Union Station.  There is Metrolink train service on the weekends from Orange, Antelope Valley and San Bernardino to downtown L.A.  For train schedule information, click here.

From L.A. Union Station:

•  Follow the signs and walk toward the Metro Red or Purple lines. 

•  When connecting to Metro Rail, you must tap your ticket at the turnstile or validator for a valid transfer. 

•  Take Metro Red Line toward North Hollywood or Metro Purple Line toward Wilshire/Western (Trains leave every five minutes; travel time is also 5 minutes) 

•  Exit at Pershing Square Station.
