Southern California Edison Offers Scholarships for High School Seniors
The deadline for the $40,000 scholarships is Friday for students living in areas serviced by SCE.
Southern California Edison reminded high school seniors today that the deadline for applying for its Edison Scholars Program -- 30 scholarships for up to $40,000 each are awarded -- is Friday.
Applicants must live in or attend school in an area serviced by SCE, plan to study science, technology, engineering or math in college and have a GPA of 2.8 or better.

Scholarship recipients will be announced in April. Those awarded scholarships may also be eligible for summer internships at SCE after their second year of college.
