Lopez Adobe

 

 

One of the original Spanish Adobe houses of the Pomona area -- at 1904 Orange Grove Ave. at the end of Aliso St. purchased with several acres of orange grove around it  Mrs. Charlotte Day (lady to left) . I believe it was purchased about 1890 The old "motor" tracks shown carried a car with its own engine power from Pomona to North Pomona. Miss Nethe Fox of our family  lived there with my Grandmother and taught school in Pomona for many years.
