You know, I'm all for change, if it will help improve Downtown Pomona. But to go and paint a historic landmark, I just don't get it.
If anything, let's put the money into repairing the broken parts of the fountain, where the rebar needs to be fixed, and covered back up.
It looked just fine the color it was, it was white before, now it blends in. And it doesn't stand out like it was intended to do. And at night you won't be able to see it, like you use to.
Like they say, 'If it's not broken, then don't mess with it'.
Next their going to paint Lady GA, GA having sex with the guy.
Hey! don't let these people see the Goddess of Pomona Statue, they might want to paint her next.
