Gang Member with a stolen and loaded gun, captured after running from Pomona GVSU Officers

On 08-03-14 members of the Pomona Police Gang Violence Suppression Unit conducted a probation compliance check at 2474 Chanslor St.

 

Upon arrival officers observed the suspect flee from them into an apartment. The suspect was located and found to have abandoned a loaded firearm. The suspect was found to be a "Little Hill" gang member from the city of La Puente. The suspect was arrested without incident and was booked in a local jail on multiple charges to include:gang member in possession of a loaded firearm, possession of a stolen firearm, and gang member in possession of ammunition.
