“A Tribute to Ray Bradbury,” a fundraiser for the Pomona Public Library Foundation, will be Oct. 12 at the Western University of Health Sciences’ Health Education Center.
The event will include actors Edward James Olmos, Joe Mantegna and Liz Torres, director Stuart Gordon and Bradbury biographer Sam Weller.
Longtime friend of Bradbury, Steven Paul Leiva, will moderate the event which includes screening of the “Wonderful Ice Cream Suit,” based on Bradbury’s short story and play.
The cost to attend is $20 when purchased in advance at www.pomonalibraryfoundation.org. At the door, the cost will be $25, but cost for those with a Pomona library card or student ID is $20.
