Hey Folk's, here's what to do at the Fair today



Here’s a list of programs and deals for Friday, Sept. 26. More information can be found at www.lacountyfair.com.
Today’s hours: Noon – midnight
Today’s Deals:
- Food Drive Fridays, presented by Ralphs, Fridays noon – 6 p.m. Donate five canned goods and receive free admission.
- Seasonal Pass, $29.99 for ages 6 and older.
- Ralphs Any-Day Tickets: Admission tickets $11 for adults, $6 for ages 6-12, comes with exclusive unlimited carnival ride wristband ($35). Restrictions apply. Presented by Ralphs.
- Cardenas Markets Any-Day Tickets: Admission tickets are $11 for adults, $6 for ages 6-12. Tickets can be picked up at participating Cardenas locations.

- Costco Savings Pack: $59.99 for 4 any-day tickets, one parking pass and 44 carnival ride/game tickets. At participating Costco stores.
- Children 5 and younger are free every day.
- Happy Hour: $2 off draft beer and margaritas 4-7 p.m.
Today’s Top Things To Do:
Heart: Heart is in the Rock ‘n Roll Hall of Fame, have their own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and tonight they perform as part of the End of Summer Concert Series, presented by Toyota. There is a limited number of free general admission tickets available beginning at 3 p.m. at the ticket kiosk on Rose Lane. Reserved seats are available at ticketmaster.com and the Fair box office. Grandstand at 7:30 p.m.

Azusa, Rancho Cucamonga, Covina & Walnut Day: Celebrate the city and its Community Heroes during the Fair. Community heroes are honored at 4:15 p.m. in Court of the Redwoods, with a parade that follows at 5 p.m. Residents receive $5 admission with online purchase using promo code azusa, ranchocucamonga, covina or walnut at lacountyfair.com or by presenting an Azusa, Rancho Cucamonga, Covina or Walnut Day at the Fair coupon at any LACF admission gate.
Luminasia: Don’t miss this larger-than-life Chinese lantern festival, with handmade iconic lanterns like the Eiffel Tower, the Hollywood sign and more. Opens nightly at 6 p.m. Admission: $9 for adults, $5 for ages 6-17, ages 5 and younger are free.
 
Grinding Gears: Dance the night away at the new dance club, open to all ages. Enjoy the latest hits spun by DJ the Gizmologist, live music from the Steam Punkers and aerial fun with iFlip. Expo Hall 10. Opens at 6 p.m.
Live Shark Encounter: Observe real sharks swimming and feeding; learn shark facts and fiction. Beneath the Sea, 3:30, 7 & 9 p.m.
Aerial Arts Circus Show: Daily. Aerial acrobats from Hollywood Aerial Arts demonstrate their amazing mid-air tricks. Guests can learn the skill firsthand for a nominal fee. Visit our website for more information. Show times: 2, 4, 6, 8:30 & 10:30 p.m.

Fire Dancer: Don’t miss Zor the Fire Dancer at Mojo’s Wild & Crazy Lagoon. Nightly.
Chinese Circus of Beijing: Daily. See the amazing feats of acrobatic maneuvers of the Chinese Circus of Beijing. Located in Expo Hall 4, community stage. Showtimes: 1:30, 4:30 & 9 p.m.
Barnyard Racers Pig Racing: Daily. See the fastest pigs in North America as they race snout to snout down the ham stretch to reach their ultimate goal – an Oreo cookie. The Farm. Showtimes: 1, 3, 4:30, 6, 7:30 & 9 p.m.
Mermaid Linden: Daily. Make sure to stop by the Beneath the Sea and catch Mermaid Linden as she shares her knowledge about the ocean and the sea animals. Showtimes: 3, 4, 5, 6:30, 7:30 & 8:30 p.m.
