Save December 7 for our "Thirtieth Anniversary Christmas Home Tour"
Plans are well underway for a celebration of 30 years of bringing visitors to our neighborhoods and town, showcasing what a great place Pomona is to work and live in. We are proud of our city, and the Annual Tour has highlighted our three Historic Districts, rejuvenated Downtown, restored landmark buildings, and our vibrant diverse community for three decades!
This year's Tour features 5 unique vintage homes decorated for Christmas, the magnificent Pilgrim Congregational Church Sanctuary, festive trolley service to the various sites, Holiday gift vendors, live music, Holiday food and more!
Most needed now are craft vendors, musical performers, advertisers for the booklet, and docents. We're counting on all our members and supporters to help in making this a real community celebration! Call Fred van Allen at (909) 261-9711 for general information, and Dianne Tackett for vendor info at (909) 643-3451.

The 16th Annual Pomona Heritage Restoration Workshop, in August, was a great success with standing room only in many of our seminars. An informative mix of subjects with excellent presenters, and enthusiastic attendees, made the event the best attended ever! Many thanks to all our members who made this all possible. Special thanks to Chairman Megan Gearhart, Committee members Mark Gearhart, Joan and Dan McIntire, Ron Estrada, and Darlene Ventura. The generous donation from Muffin Turk for the delicious sandwishes, Dawn and Fred Van Allen for the fresh salad from their garden, and Raymond Mendoza for the gourmet desert, made the lunchtime break epic! Thanks also to Suzanna and Jim Deakyne for organizing the terrific Silent Auction, and Karen and Bob Stoltz for opening their lovely home for the "in progress" tour.
