Orange Picking Time is Near in La Verne

From the La Verne Heritage Foundation:
The La Verne Heritage Foundation will open its gates Jan. 3, for the annual Orange Picking at Heritage Park. The public is encouraged to come and pick oranges from the last working orange grove in La Verne.
They are the best tasting navel oranges around. We will be open to the public each Saturday from January 3 until approximately mid-March from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Oranges, lemons & grapefruits are $5 a bag.
