Suspect arrested for breaking windows in business district
Pomona man arrested for vandalism on Sunday for breaking front windows of the businesses in the 2000 blk of South Garey Ave. Police identified the suspect as Rafael Palafox, 24 yrs old. The suspect lived nearby the businesses. The suspect was photographed on security cameras and identified, but was not located
Today, the Water store found their front window shattered and an adjoining business, Pack-N-Ship store with their window shattered. Another business in the same area, a Video store has had their window shatterd 3 times in two weeks. The suspect was throwing rocks through the windows for no apparent reason.
After today investigation, officers searched for the suspect and found him at Indian Hill Blvd. and Holt Ave. The suspect was arrested for Felony Vandalism with a Bail of $20,000.
