Online Employment Center
Applicants must apply for jobs using our online system.
Paper applications are not accepted.
All recruitment notices are sent via e-mail only.
Please check your e-mail account frequently during the application process.

To apply online, simply click the "Apply" link when viewing the job announcement. If this is your first time applying for a position using City of Pomona's Online Hiring Center, you will need to create an account by creating a Username and Password. After your account has been created, you can build your application by clicking on the "Build Job Application" link. Your application can then be saved and used to apply for jobs with the City of Pomona.

Your application is the primary tool used to evaluate your job qualifications. It is important that your application include all relevant education and experience for the past ten (10) years. Collect details about your education and employment history before creating your application. The first time you create an application, be prepared to spend 30 minutes or more, though you can save your work at any time and return to it later. List all periods of employment, beginning with your most recent or present employer. List separately each position held, including different positions with the same employer. List and explain all periods of unemployment. Incomplete applications may be rejected. Resumes are not accepted in lieu of completing the employment history section of the application. Be certain to click on SAVE as you create your application. If you do not click on SAVE prior to reviewing your application, the information will be lost.

Once you submit your application, a message will appear on the screen letting you know that your application has been received. Please print a copy of your application, job bulletin, and any attachments for your records.
Online applications are stored on a secure site. Only authorized employees have access to the information submitted.

Warning:  You must click on the Apply link to apply for our job openings.  Creating an application in NEOGOV does not mean you have applied for a City job. Always confirm your application has been submitted to the City of Pomona by checking your email. An email is automatically sent from info@neogov.com
 acknowledging your application was received by the City.  You may call (909) 620-2291 if you desire a verbal confirmation.
