Pomona College, was located on the southwest corner of White Ave. and Mission Blvd. Sept. 12, 1888 the first session was held. The little college house was eventually moved, to the northeast corner of Phillips Blvd. and Hamilton Blvd. where it sits today. Just more great history here on the south side of Pomona.
